Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms apply to work carried out by Arnos Customzz, 88 Stanley Road, Croydon, CR0 3QA, and to the use of this website. Booking a vehicle in means you accept them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Quotes and prices
Any price given from photographs, a message or a phone call is an estimate. Vehicle styling prices depend on paint condition, previous wraps or films, body kits, trim removal and the actual panel area, and some of that can only be judged with the car in front of us. We confirm the final price before starting work. If we find something during the job that changes the price, we stop and speak to you first.
Prices include VAT where VAT is chargeable. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise.
2. Booking, deposits and cancellation
Some work requires a deposit to secure the slot and to cover materials cut or printed specifically for your vehicle. Deposits come off the final invoice.
- Cancel more than 48 hours before your slot and any deposit is refunded, less the cost of material already ordered or printed specifically for you.
- Cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not turn up, and we may keep the deposit to cover the lost slot.
- If we have to move your booking we will tell you as soon as we can, and offer you the next available slot or a full refund of the deposit.
3. The condition of your vehicle
Wrapping, film and tinting are surface finishes. They go on to what is already there.
- We photograph the vehicle on arrival as a record of its condition. Tell us in advance about any previous paintwork, filler, respray, rust, dents, stone chips, earlier wraps or aftermarket film.
- Vinyl and film need sound paint to bond to and to release from. Where paint is already failing, resprayed, poorly prepared or lifting, it can come away when a wrap or film is removed. We will point out any area we are concerned about before starting, and we cannot accept responsibility for paint that was not sound to begin with.
- Wraps and films sit over existing damage rather than repairing it. Dents, chips and orange peel will still read through the finish.
- Where trim, handles, lights or badges have to come off for a proper finish, clips and fixings can be brittle with age. We replace what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that aged plastics will survive removal.
4. Window tinting and the law
UK law limits how dark the front windows of a road-going vehicle may be. For cars first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. Windows behind the driver are not restricted.
We fit front tints to the legal limit only. We will happily fit any legal shade you like to the rear. If you ask us to fit film that would take a front window below the legal limit, we will decline. Where a vehicle arrives with existing illegal film, that is the owner’s responsibility, not ours.
You are responsible for telling your insurer about modifications, including wraps, colour changes, tints and lighting. A colour change should also be notified to the DVLA.
5. Lighting and electrical work
Starlight headliners, ambient lighting and F1-style rear lights are fitted using appropriate looms and fusing, with wiring routed out of sight. Where a vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty, be aware that some manufacturers take a view on aftermarket electrical work. We will tell you what a job involves before we start so you can decide.
6. Timings
We give realistic lead times and we work to them, but vehicle work is not always predictable. Where a job overruns because of the condition of the vehicle, a supply delay or a fault we uncover, we keep you informed. We are not liable for consequential losses caused by a job taking longer than estimated, such as hire car costs or missed events.
7. Aftercare and warranty
New wraps, films and coatings need a settling period. As a general rule: leave the vehicle unwashed for 7 days after wrapping or tinting, keep pressure washers away from edges and seams, and do not use abrasive polishes or solvent cleaners on wrapped panels. We give written aftercare with every job, and following it is a condition of any warranty.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months against lifting, peeling and bubbling caused by fitting. Materials carry their own manufacturer warranty, which we pass on to you. Warranties do not cover accident damage, misuse, stone chips, vandalism, poor washing technique, pressure washer damage, or failure of paint that was not sound before we started.
If something is not right, tell us promptly and bring the vehicle back. We would always rather put it right ourselves.
8. Payment and collection
The balance is payable on completion, before the vehicle leaves. Vehicles left more than 3 days after we tell you the work is finished may attract a reasonable storage charge, which we will tell you about first. Risk in the vehicle passes back to you on collection.
9. Liability
We hold appropriate insurance for vehicles in our care. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any single job is limited to the price paid for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Please take valuables and personal items out of the vehicle before leaving it with us. We cannot be responsible for items left inside.

11. Complaints and governing law
If something has gone wrong, contact us on 07422 542032 or arnoscustomzz@gmail.com and we will work with you to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
